Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about working with us.

How much does a custom van conversion cost?

+

Our builds range from $15,000 to $100,000+ depending on the tier and scope. Basic builds run $15K–$30K, Standard builds $35K–$55K, and Premium builds $60K–$100K+. These are package totals including labor and materials — the vehicle is not included. Every quote is broken down by system so you know exactly where your money is going.

How long does a build take?

+

Basic builds take 6–8 weeks, Standard builds 8–12 weeks, and Premium builds 12–16+ weeks. Timelines depend on the scope of the build, not the platform. We'll give you a realistic timeline during the quoting process.

Do you sell vans or do I need to bring my own?

+

We don't sell vehicles — you bring the van (or trailer) and we build it out. We're happy to help you figure out what to look for when buying, and we can advise on which platform and configuration works best for your build.

What platforms do you work on?

+

We build on Mercedes Sprinters, RAM ProMasters, Ford Transits, and cargo trailers. Each platform has its strengths and we can help you pick the right one during your consultation.

Can I visit the shop during my build?

+

Absolutely. Our shop is in Costa Mesa, CA, and the door is open. We keep you updated with photos and progress check-ins throughout the build, but you're welcome to come see it in person anytime.

How does payment work?

+

A $6,000 deposit secures your build slot. When we're ready to start, you sign the full contract and pay 50% of the total (minus the deposit). At the halfway point, 20% is due. The remaining balance is due at completion and handoff.

Do you do partial builds or just full conversions?

+

We do both. If you've already started a build and need help finishing specific systems — electrical, plumbing, cabinetry — we can scope that out. We also do consulting if you're building it yourself and want expert guidance.

What areas do you serve?

+

We're based in Costa Mesa, CA, and work with clients across Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Inland Empire. Most clients drop their vehicle off at our shop and pick it up when the build is complete.

What's included in a quote?

+

Every quote is broken down by system: interior, electrical, plumbing, and exterior. Each line item shows exactly what you're getting and what it costs. No hidden fees, no mystery line items. You approve everything before we start.

Do you offer financing?

+

We don't offer in-house financing, but many of our clients use personal loans, RV loans, or home equity lines to finance their builds. We're happy to provide detailed quotes that you can take to a lender.
