Work From Anywhere

Mobile Office

Van Conversions

A custom workspace on wheels — built around your gear, your workflow, and the places you actually want to work. Solar power, fast connectivity, real climate control, and a layout that makes sense for getting things done.

Why Go Mobile

Your Office, No Lease Required

Remote work changed the game, but working from a couch or a coffee shop has real limits. A mobile office van gives you a purpose-built workspace with reliable power, fast internet, and climate control — wherever you park it.

Who Builds a Mobile Office Van?

Remote workers who want to travel without burning PTO. Realtors who need a mobile base between showings. Photographers and videographers editing on location. Sales reps covering large territories. Contractors running their business from the road. If you work from a laptop, take calls, or need a clean space to meet clients — a work van conversion pays for itself in flexibility.

No More Rental Overhead

Skip the coworking fees and commercial lease. Your van is your office, your commute, and your break room — all in one payment.

Change Your View, Not Your Workflow

Park at the beach on Monday, a mountain trailhead on Wednesday, a client site on Friday. Your setup stays exactly the same.

Tax Advantages

A vehicle used for business may qualify for Section 179 deductions and mileage write-offs. Talk to your CPA — the numbers often make sense.

Built for Focus

No coffee shop noise, no coworking distractions. Just your workspace, configured exactly how you work best.

What's Inside

What Goes Into a Mobile Office Conversion

Every remote work van conversion we build is designed around productivity. Here's what that actually looks like.

🖥️

Dedicated Desk & Workspace

A real work surface — not a folding table balanced on a bed. We build fixed or convertible desks with ergonomic seating, monitor mounts, and cable management. Some builds include a swivel seat that doubles as the desk chair, saving space without compromising comfort.

Reliable Off-Grid Power

Lithium battery banks paired with rooftop solar and DC-DC alternator charging. Enough capacity to run a laptop, external monitor, printer, and phone chargers all day without worrying about running out. We size the electrical system to your actual daily power draw — not a generic template.

📡

Strong Connectivity

Cell signal boosters (like the weBoost Drive Reach) for reliable hotspot connections. Pre-wired Starlink mounting for satellite internet where cell coverage drops off. Multiple USB-A, USB-C, and 120V outlet points positioned at desk height so you're not running extension cords across the floor.

🌡️

Climate Control

You can't focus if you're sweating or freezing. We install Espar diesel heaters for cold mornings, MaxxAir ventilation fans for airflow, and optional AC units for Southern California summers. Thinsulate insulation and XPS foam flooring keep the interior temperature stable without a vapor barrier.

📦

Equipment & Supply Storage

Custom cabinetry and shelving for your specific gear. Lockable compartments for expensive equipment. Overhead storage for files and supplies. Everything secured so nothing shifts while you're driving between locations.

Optional Add-Ons

Need to stay overnight between client sites? We can add a sleeping setup that folds away during work hours. A small kitchen area — sink, 12V fridge, single-burner stove — keeps you fueled without leaving your workspace. Some clients add a small meeting area for on-site consultations.

Choosing Your Platform

Which Van Works Best for a Mobile Office?

All three platforms we work with can make a great mobile office. The right choice depends on your budget, where you'll be parking, and how much interior space you need.

Ford Transit

Best for Urban Professionals

  • High Roof Height: 81.5" (6'9.5") — tallest interior of any platform
  • Medium Roof Height: 72" (6'0") — lower profile for structures with 8'6"+ clearance, though it won't fit standard 7' parking garages
  • MSRP Range: $42K–$52K
  • Why It Works: Gas engine means easier maintenance, and the medium roof option gives you a lower-profile vehicle that's less conspicuous in commercial areas and neighborhoods

Mercedes Sprinter

Best for Long-Term Value

  • High Roof Height: 79" (6'7") — comfortable standing room
  • Engine: 3.0L V6 turbo diesel — 250K–450K+ mile lifespan
  • MSRP Range: $51K–$60K
  • Why It Works: Best resale value of any platform, diesel fuel economy for high-mileage professionals, and the largest aftermarket parts ecosystem

Ram ProMaster

Best Value per Square Foot

  • High Roof Height: 76" (6'4") — standing room for most people
  • Interior Width: 75.6" — widest cargo area of any van platform
  • MSRP Range: $38K–$48K
  • Why It Works: Lowest purchase price, widest interior gives you more usable floor space for desk setups, and FWD means a flat cargo floor with no wheel wells to work around

Our Approach

Built Around How You Work

We don't build from a template. Every mobile office conversion starts with understanding your work — what tools you use, how long your work sessions run, where you park, whether you take video calls, and what "productive" actually looks like for you.

From there, we design the layout, size the electrical system, and spec the components to match. A photographer editing 4K video all day has very different power needs than a realtor doing emails and CRM work. We build for your specific use case, not a generic "office van" template.

Every build is done in-house at our San Diego shop. We handle design, fabrication, electrical, and finish work — no subcontractors, no handoffs.

Connectivity needs — cell booster, Starlink, ethernet, outlet and USB placement

  • 04

Climate requirements — how many hours per day, what seasons, what regions

  • 05

Multi-use needs — sleeping, kitchen, client meeting area, or work-only
