We're based in North County San Diego, about two hours from most parts of LA. Our clients from DTLA, the Westside, the Valley, and the South Bay make the drive because the builds are worth it — and because our prices don't include LA shop overhead.

Los Angeles has a massive van life community, but finding a reliable builder in the city is harder than it should be. Shop rents in LA are through the roof, which means either higher prices for you or builders cutting corners to stay profitable. Neither is a good outcome.
Our shop in North County San Diego gives you the best of both worlds: professional build quality without LA overhead. The drive is straightforward — take the 5 south and you're here in about two hours. Most of our LA clients make the trip two or three times during the build: once for the initial consultation, once mid-build to check progress, and once for the final walkthrough.
Between visits, we send regular photo updates and are always available by phone or email. You don't need to be in the shop every day to get a great build.

How the Process Works for Out-of-Town Clients
Most of our LA clients handle the initial consultation by phone or video call. We talk through your van, your plans, and your budget, then put together a detailed build plan and quote broken down by system. You approve everything before we start.
During the build, we send photo updates so you're always in the loop. When it's time for your final walkthrough, you drive down, we walk you through every system, and you drive home in your finished van.
