Daybreak

Daybreak was designed with a single goal: dependable off-grid living without unnecessary complexity or attention. Built for travelers who value simplicity, discretion, and comfort, this ProMaster is equally at home tucked into a trailhead or blending quietly into the city.

The Build

The electrical system is intentionally right-sized — 200Ah lithium battery bank, 400W of rooftop solar, and a 1000W inverter. Powerful enough for daily essentials without overbuilding. This setup comfortably supports lighting, device charging, refrigeration, and small appliances.

The plumbing system covers the essentials: a sink with integrated water pump, indoor shower for added comfort, and a pull-out cassette toilet concealed for stealth and easy emptying. A Bodega refrigerator handles cold storage off-grid.

The interior centers on a fixed queen-size bed with a sturdy frame and under-bed storage. Overhead shelving and cubbies organize gear and daily essentials. A compact dinette handles meals or remote work. A microwave and tiled backsplash add practical comfort to the kitchen area.

Two MaxxAir fans provide consistent airflow while maintaining a low exterior profile — part of the overall stealth design.

Why ProMaster

The client came in with a budget that would’ve limited their options on a Sprinter. Going ProMaster meant a lower vehicle cost and more budget for the build itself. With minimal exterior markings and a quiet footprint, Daybreak is well suited for long-term urban stays, national forest campsites, and quick weekend getaways.
