This custom Sprinter 170” Extended was designed for a professional who travels for work and wanted more than a camper — she wanted a space that feels settled, comfortable, and truly livable day after day. Built around a full indoor bathroom, generous kitchen, and a powerful off-grid electrical system, this van supports long stays, changing schedules, and daily routines.

The Build

The electrical system delivers serious off-grid capability: 600Ah lithium battery bank, 600W Roboteos rooftop solar array, 3000W inverter/charger, 30A shore power connection, and DC-DC alternator charging while driving. 120V and 12V power runs throughout the van. This system comfortably supports air conditioning, cooking appliances, remote work, and everyday electronics.

The kitchen features an Empava induction cooktop and compact Bodega fridge/freezer combo, a large sink with generous counter space, and custom cabinetry with pantry storage. The bathroom includes a high-capacity indoor walkthrough shower and a slide-out Laveo dry flush toilet for odorless, water-free use. A rear closet and dedicated storage handles daily essentials.

The living area features a convertible bed and dinette/work-lounge configuration with comfortable seating for relaxing or remote work. The open floor plan supports changing needs throughout the day.

Climate control comes from a 12V Dometic RTX 2000 air conditioner and a MaxxAir fan for ventilation, with multi-zone LED lighting throughout the interior.

A space designed to feel calm and grounded when parked, and capable and self-reliant when moving. Everything about the Anchor was designed to make full-time off-grid living feel effortless — no compromises on power, water, or comfort.
