Crosswind

Crosswind was built for freedom above all else. Designed around flexibility and self-reliance, this Sprinter conversion adapts easily to changing needs — whether that’s living full-time off-grid, hauling gear, or reconfiguring the space for daily life on the move.

The Build

We designed Crosswind around a modular benches-to-bed layout with durable 80/20 cabinetry throughout. The open floor plan supports gear hauling, work, or relaxed living — and the conversion between modes is quick.

The electrical system is built for multi-day autonomy with a high-capacity roof-mounted solar array, a large lithium battery bank, and a high-output inverter capable of running appliances and tools. LED lighting and outlets are distributed throughout.

A propane stove handles cooking, paired with a compact sink and water system designed for durability and easy maintenance. An outdoor shower covers rinsing off after long days outside.

Climate control comes from dual MaxxAir Deluxe fans with remote control and thermostat, backed by a fully insulated interior for four-season usability.
